Die von der Vorjury eingeladenen Bands bekommen im Rahmen von öffentlichen Wettbewerbskonzerten die Gelegenheit zu einem 20 minütigen Auftritt vor Publikum und vor einer überregional besetzten Jury. Besetzung: Marion Lenfant-Preus, Gesang / Alexander Sobocinski, Gitarre / Frank Brempel, Geige / Yoshinao Mikami, Klavier / Stefan Rey, Kontrabass.
